JULIE CHRISTEAS

Advisory Board Member

JULIE CHRISTEAS is the founder and CEO of Tandem Pictures, since 2010. Her recent films include, THE SURROGATE (SXSW 2020) and BLACK BEAR (Sundance 2020) starring Aubrey Plaza, Christopher Abbott and Sarah Gadon. She also executive produced the cult horror favorite THE EYES OF MY MOTHER (Sundance 2016/Magnet Releasing), MONOGAMY (Best NY Narrative, Tribeca Film Festival 2010), the feature doc DUKALE'S DREAM starring Hugh Jackman, and GHOST TEAM starring Jon Heder, David Krumholtz, Justin Long, Amy Sedaris and Melonie Diaz. Previously she produced BLOOD STRIPE (Jury Prize for Best Narrative Film, LA Film Festival 2016), WILDLIKE starring Bruce Greenwood and Brian Geraghty (HIFF), and THE SLEEPWALKER starring Christopher Abbott and Brady Corbet (Sundance 2014/IFC).  Julie also produces original short-form content for some of the biggest brands in the world -- Amazon, Chase Bank, Ford Motors, Netflix, Cadillac and many more. Before Tandem, Julie was EVP across production and development at Renart Films.

GRACE MOSS

Advisory Board Member

Grace Moss is the Director of Talent Development & Inclusion for NBC Entertainment. In this role, she oversees multiple programs that focus on discovering, cultivating and showcasing talented writers and directors of diverse backgrounds, with the objective of getting them staffed on NBC’s scripted programs. Grace also manages nationwide outreach efforts and develops relationships with community partners, such as the National Hispanic Media Coalition, Coalition of Asian Pacifics in Entertainment and East West Players.  Before coming to NBC, Grace a Development Executive at the Style Network, where she oversaw new series in production, from initial pitch to delivery. Prior to her stint at the Style Network, Grace worked as a Producer and Director on a plethora of unscripted shows on a variety of networks, including MTV, VH1, TLC and NBC.

KIMBERLY BROWNING

Advisory Board Member

Kimberly Browning is an established film, television and digital direct and producer as well as film festival programmer. She is the Founder and Festival Director of Hollywood Shorts (est. 1998) and has been an Associate Short Film Programmer at Tribeca Film Festival and an Executive Producer at HBOAccess Directing Fellowship since 2016, heading up the talent development program for emerging episodic directors. She has previously held the positions of Associate Short Film Programmer at FICG in LA, the International Film Festival, and Los Angeles Film Festival. She has also worked as the Co-Director of Cinematic Arts, YoungArts, the Regional Program Co-Director/ Master Teacher (Film Directing) in Miami and Los Angeles. She is also the president of a feature film company Griffith Place Films which is currently developing its slate of projects with budgets between $5-10 million as well as original episodic and live music content for New Media/ multiplatform distribution/VOD.
